Anyone that knows me, knows, I am just not very good at the concept of long story short. If I do actually talk to you, which like one of the many quotes from the best movie of all time, Goodfellas (“For a guy who moved all day long, Paulie didn't talk to six people. If there was a union problem or a beef in the numbers only the top guys could meet …”) I have a tendency as the mighty Led Zep sang to ramble on. But long story short, I had a health thing recently which had a major impact on my outlook and where music fits in these next chapters. And I made some moves over the past 10 years to raise a family which helped make things warm, safe, secure - the exact opposite of that Ford 15 passenger van my band practically lived in for decades - and again making me think about where music fits in these next chapters. So getting my 2004 indie release ‘Steve Broderick’ available again, and remixed the song “Never A Day Goes By’ from it with a new video, onward and upward.

RIP Jack Douglas
Sorry to hear of the passing of legendary record producer Jack Douglas. In addition to being a superfan of his work especially Cheap Trick and Aerosmith and of course John Lennon, had the incredible good fortune to do a record with him and his partner Jay Messina. Incredibly nice and genuine and funny guy, rest in peace.
